Growth in small children can easily be seen from year to year, but parents are well aware that their children show visible signs of change in those formative weeks and months. Pictured on the left is the Dowling’s two year old first born son, as he lies on the play mat and looks lovingly onto his six week year old brother. Years later I’m privileged to know that these two boys remain steadfast friends, occasional antagonists and teachers to one another.
